Well I'll tell y'all right up front that I'm not the best at journaling.  Just imagine what that will do to my whole blogafication skills.  So, I will attempt to make this site coherent and relevant as much as possible.  However, you have been warned; until I get this whole thing down pat, my posts may be sporadic.

 And yes, "y'all" is a real word, a litteral translation from a foreign language (see if you can figure out which one...).  "Blogification" is all mine though.

You live, and you learn.  Language is flexible and ever evolving.

Does that make me evil, or just bad?

What a telling question.  It is one that we all struggle with in life.  It can seem so simple, yet be the most complex question to answer in our life.

I am so many different people; son, brother, husband, father, friend, co-worker.  And the list could go on interminably I'm sure.  But the best answer is that I am a child of the King.

This King is no ordinary king.  He never ruled one of those historical juggernaughts like, Persia, Egypt, Greece, or Rome.  He is, rather, the King of kings, Master of all Creation.  My King is the LORD.

So, any answer I give to the question, "who am I," will always be offered in the shadow of the only one who answered I AM.  As a result of that, my answer can only be, "I am because HE IS."  And my answer comes with all the blemishes inherent in the fallen condition from which I'm trying to crawl (every day of my life).

Yep, you guessed it!  I'm one of those Jesus Freaks.  That's ok, I've been called worse by much better.  I just pray that you will take everything I say here in light of the fact that I am imperfect, but I am crazy about Him whom I have believed.

If you can't understand what I'm talking about, you should visit my brother's site.  He lays it out pretty well.  He's a Marine and rough around the edges, but he's still a pretty cool guy.

 Well, it's a brand new day, and as Mr. Rogers would say, "a beautiful day in the neighborhood."

This new day is the day I decided to launch myself, kicking and screaming, into the "blogosphere."  I have been lurking around, sneaking in and out of relatives' and friends' blogs for a while now, and so I thought it fitting to add my useless ramblings to that virtual world we all seem to be inhabiting more and more.  I hope you enjoy your visits.  I hope I actually share something worth reading for you.
